We have organised weddings in castles here in the North East for nine years and can turn the castle into something resembling a film set, with floor to ceiling crystal walls, crystal curtains and crystal trees. Every girl wants to be a Princess on her wedding day, and most Grooms can handle the idea of being a Prince. But what is really fabulous, both for the family and for our staff, is the feedback from guests. Everyone loves a wedding, but when the venue is an ancient castle and grounds that have been turned into a wonderland, it becomes an unforgettable event.
In addition to fairy tale castles we have been asked for Gothic themes, medieval themes and a request to turn Chillingham Castle into the Land of Narnia from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Its tremendous fun with pewter tableware, tapestries, drapes, jousters and falconers. . In addition to ‘dressing the castle' we provide serving staff in period costume, ‘Human Gorillas'; drumming waiters; living, strolling tables to ‘meet and greet'; or finalists from TV shows like Britain's Got Talent or X-Factor to entertain guests.
For something more formal, our marquee hire service is at your disposal. We have a huge range of unique venues in the North East and the Scottish Borders. Stately homes and castles, rural settings and a few surprises that we like to keep to ourselves and our clients. Naturally we have long established relationships with top North East hotels and can offer you the best rates in the region.
